The international children’s charity SATUC (Sheikha Al-Thani for Uniting Children) is delighted to announce generous high-level sponsorship from two of Egypt’s best-known businesses.
In a huge boost for the prestige of this inaugural soccer tournament involving underprivileged children from throughout the world, the national airline Egypt Air has agreed to become the official carrier of the tournament, generously agreeing to support flights for participating teams from as far afield as the Philippines and the Ivory Coast.
In addition, Egypt’s most prestigious hotel chain, Fairmont has agreed to become the exclusive partner hotel of the SATUC World Cup in Egypt, accommodating the teams, our start line-up of Ambassadors, and SATUC’s staff.
Sheikha Al-Thani said: “We are so grateful that companies of the prestige and reputation of Egypt Air and Fairmont have kindly agreed to support the inaugural SATUC World Cup. Our aim with this tournament is to help transform the life chances of some of the world’s least fortunate children, and it says a lot about the corporate ethos of these two great companies that they are willing to support this aim so generously.”
Our two new partners will be formally unveiled at the 7 July Ramadan Suhoor friendly match and press conference in Cairo.
