SATUC Ambassadors head to SATUC England team 2TR trials

2015 SATUC Cup Honorary President Ahmed Hassan and Tournament Ambassador Nader El Sayed will, along with the rest of the SATUC team, head to Tottenham in North London tonight to attend the 2TR trials for the 2015 SATUC Cup.

The trials count as a precious chance for the 2TR children to secure their place on the plane to Cairo in August 2015 for a once-in-a-lifetime trip with the SATUC Cup.

Our esteemed guests are looking forward to working hand-in-hand with local community legend Clasford Stirling MBE, who will be selecting the lucky eight flying to Egypt. He is very highly regarded for the tireless work he does on behalf of the community and has a proven track record for spotting and developing first-class talent, with several current & ex-Premier League players owing their success to his coaching.

Charles Browne, the co-founder of 2TR, admitted he wasn’t prepared for the levels of interest being shown in the trials – the boys are very excited not only by the presence of two Egypt legends in their midst (after all Ahmed Hassan is the most-capped male international footballer in history) but by the chance to be coached to such a high level by Clasford Stirling with the help of our guests. The two Egypt stars themselves are equally (if not more) excited to be part of such an exciting enterprise that does so much good work for the local communities.

SATUC’s founder Sheikha Al-Thani believes that this latest 2TR SATUC Cup trial “promises to be a very exciting event that captures the essence of the partnership between SATUC and our dear friends at 2TR. By joining hands together we can put a smile on the children’s faces and give them the opportunity to show what they are capable of when given a chance to do so”.

SATUC will be there to cover the event with detailed coverage to follow – the link to the Facebook event is below:
