SATUC WORLD CUP

Give these talented children an opportunity to leave behind whatever challenges they have had to overcome and to show their true potential.

It is a chance for the world to see them in a different light; not as victims or sufferers but as remarkable young people who have an extraordinary amount to give.

SATUC WORLD CUP Success story

Iliman Ndiaye

0
Teams

Iliman Ndiaye, who was one of our 2TR Football players in the SATUC World Cup in Egypt in 2015, joined Sheffield United for later promoted into the premier league. Iliman Ndiaye, one of many children who dreamt of an opportunity, is becoming the type of person he would have looked up to. Through the SATUC World Cup, he was able to learn discipline, make new friends, and become a more experienced football player which lead to what he is today.

Well done to Iliman Ndiaye!

SATUC cause evidently led to a number of  14-15 year old participants in the SATUC World Cup to become global stars. Together we can help more children enter the football world! Stay tuned for more exciting events and initiatives.

Honorary Doctorate and Goodwill Ambassador

Sheikha Al ThaniSATUC Chairperson

SATUC led by Sheikha organized a countrywide football tournament for orphans and underprivileged children using football to inspire and empower children from underprivileged backgrounds. After this first edition, the tournament grew up in popularity and gained international recognition, support, and cooperation from football stars and historic clubs like Al-Ahly, which is still ongoing. Then in 2015, we went global as we organized our first edition of the SATUC World Cup in Cairo, Egypt where we invited teams from 8 countries as follows: Egypt, Syria, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, England, Cote D’Ivoire and the Philippines. Then in 2018, we held the 2nd edition of our World Cup in a different continent, in Europe, more specifically in Sofia, Bulgaria. Where we had 12 teams from all over the world as follows: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Indonesia, Liberia, Syria, Iraq, Morocco, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Nigeria. We have also organized football camps on 5 continents, sending a clear message to children: that through football training, effort, and dedication they can change their lives, as well as avoid falling into criminality or drug use.
