Sheikha Al Thani, the chairperson of SATUC signed a Protocol with Mohamed Morgan the Executive Director of Al Ahly FC for hosting the 2019 SATUC tournament.

Al Ahly FC in Cairo and the SATUC organization announced an upcoming partnership for the next SATUC Football tournament that will host more than 200 hundred Egyptian orphans and Syrian refugees. To finalize the agreement the Executive Director of Al Ahly Club General Mohamed Morgan and Chairperson Sheikha Althani signed a protocol in front of news outlets to share with the public the great news.

Furthermore, as a sign of welcome, the General awarded SATUC’s Chairperson gifts to commemorate the new union between organizations. This tournament will be the qualifiers where the Egyptian and Syrian teams will be chosen to participate in the upcoming SATUC World Cup in 2019. To support the initiative and the children, football legends from across the globe such as Nuno Gomes, Maniche and Tiago Ribeiro will be attending the qualifiers along with the Vice President of the Portuguese FA. SATUC is, of course, looking forward to having Captain Mahmoud Al Khattab head of the Al Ahly FC join us on this historic day in finding the stars of the new generation.
Not only this but it has been decided that there will be a match between legends before the kickoff of the matches to give the kids first-seat tickets to a match of the century. With the ministries such as Social Solidarity, Youth and Sport, and others expressing their support both SATUC and Al Ahly FC believe that this event will be a great success and a dream come true for the kids to step foot and play in the ‘club of the century’.
