On the 2nd of July 2013 SATUC Chairperson Sheikha Al Thani donated to build a new branch of the hospital to survive cases of pediatric patients who need heart surgery. Magdy Yacoub heart center in Aswan is in deep need to establish more new branches to get more rooms to be able to save more lives of innocent children.

Sheikha Al Thani expressed her admiration for the great developments in the hospital. She thanked the hospital staff of doctors, nurses, and volunteers assuring that volunteering can help a lot and even work miracles. Sheikha also shared smiles, toys, and gifts with the children receiving treatment there.
