Sheikha Al Thani meeting with the Georgian government

Mr Davit Gabaidze, the Chairman of Supreme Council of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, hosted Sheikha Sheikha Al Thani· On July 24, Mr Davit Gabaidze, the Chairman of Supreme Council of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, hosted Sheikha Al Thani. The meeting was attended by Vladimir Mgaloblishvili, Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Sport Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, President of Georgian Karate National Federation Kakha Basilia and Gocha Surmanidze, President of Adjara Karate Federation. They discussed the relations between them and the prospects of their development. Particular attention was paid to sporting events, which the Sheikha Al Thani, plans in Georgia, in particular, in Adjara. Sheikha/ Sheikha Bint Hamad Al Thani has visited Batumi for the World Martial Arts Games in 2016 as a VIP Guest. She has attended the International Martial Arts Festival in Batumi and plans to hold SATUC WORLD CUP in the future. Sheikha Al Thani also highlighted the efforts of SATUC to use sport as a tool for unification and to aid those less fortunate. At the end of the meeting, Davit Gabaidze gave a special certificate “SATUC” to princess Sheikha Al Thani for supporting Georgia sporting events. Sheikha Al Thani -hosted exchanged gifts and made memorable photos.
