HADY KHASHABA

A highly-regarded midfielder, Khashaba was a one-club man, dedicating his entire club career to Egyptian giants Al Ahly from 1991-2006 where he is fondly remembered as a club legend.

Khashaba’s international career was equally distinguished earning a total of 84 caps for the Egyptian national side from 1992-2004 and scoring 12 goals in the process. He played in the African Cup of Nations three times, winning the tournament in 1998 by defeating South Africa 2-0 to give The Pharaohs their fourth CAN title.

In addition Khashaba had the honour of representing Egypt at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and the 1999 Fifa Confederations Cup.
