The 4th anniversary of one of the largest humanitarian disaster since World War II; a crisis which has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and has been largely ignored by the world and media.
The event will offer comments and speeches from dignitaries including local MP’s, international speakers, prominent scholars and Trauma Surgeon Dr David Nott. As well as other local politicians and community leaders.

Expected guest speakers include:
Tony Lloyd, GMP Crime Commissioner
Ian Wiggett, Assistant Chief Constable
Afzal Khan, MEP, Vice-chair security & Defence
Dr Mawas,
HRH Sheikha Al-Thani, Qatar, Egypt (SATUC Founder)
Dr Nott, Syria Relief Medical Project.
Speaking just before Dr Nott, the keynote speaker, Sheikha Sheikha Al-Thani will offer her comments and observations on the events in Syria, as well as highlighting the strong partnership that has been formed between SATUC and Syria Relief in response to this crisis.
On May 21st SATUC signed an agreement with Syria El Gad Relief Foundation, who will be providing the Syrian team at the 2015 SATUC World Cup. This agreement outlines the respective responsibilities of the parties during the event. This will ensure that the Syrian team, as well as the 300 Syrian refugees that SATUC is hosting at the venue, will be properly cared and provided for.
We hopes to stimulate some action in solidarity for the people of Syria and to raise awareness of the fact that this unimaginable suffering and crisis still continues while the world looks the other way.
